These are incredibly simple AND delicious! You will need a food processor or cuisinart.
2.5 cups raw cashews
3/4 cups of Medjool pitted dates
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
*** add a little water 1/4 cup if dough seems separated. This will help bind.
3/4 cup of Cacao Powder
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Sea salt
Directions:
Add cashews, dates, sea salt & vanilla into your food processor. Blend until mixed well, but still seeing chopped nuts (don’t over do or pulverize)
You may need to add a little water – have a 1/4 cup ready and drizzle a little in if dough isn’t sticking together. Dough should be sticky.
Put dough into an 8×8 pan lined with parchment paper.
Press dough evenly flat
Combine Cacao powder, coconut oil, maple syrup & cayenne in medium bowl and wisk.
Pour evenly over the dough.
Place in freezer for 2 or more hours
Chocolate needs to be hard.
Lift the parchment out of baking dish and slice!
Keep in the Freezer…..they can last for a few weeks, but are you really not going to finish in a few days…or hours?
